The opportunity

We're looking for a full-stack Product Engineer to join our early-days product team and own the software that makes the phone mindful: the system that blocks distractions, understands usage, and ensures kids are safe online.

You'd take features from idea to production across our system and backend. A big part of where the product is heading is AI, ML and data, so real interest there matters. Huge ownership from day one, a modern AI-native stack, and the room to grow fast.

What you'll do

• Ship end to end - Own features across the whole stack, from the Compose UI to the Django backend, on real devices in people's hands.
• Work on data & AI - Help build the datasets, models and pipelines that make the product intelligent, a growing part of what we do.
• Build our system - In Kotlin & Jetpack Compose, going into Android's deeper system layer (usage, foreground services, device management).
• Build the backend - Design and evolve our Python/Django services, data models and background jobs.
• Grow the product - Turn raw signals into privacy-first features that genuinely help people, and help shape how we build as we scale.

Who you are

• A strong engineer comfortable across the stack: mobile (Kotlin/Android) and backend (Python/Django), or strong in one and eager to learn the other.
• Genuinely into AI, ML and data, with some hands-on experience and the drive to go deeper. It's a growing part of the role.
• A degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related engineering field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• You've built real things (side projects, internships, a first role or two) and you want far more ownership and to grow fast.
• Strong fundamentals and a fast learner; you care about quality, reliability and privacy.
• Builder mindset and strong alignment with the mission.
• Tech & AI fluent: you use AI daily to accelerate your work.
